I live and work in the amazing city of Chicago, Illinois, where I was born and raised.

I’ve been tattooing professionally since 1998, after serving a formal 2-year apprenticeship with Cap Szumski at Timeless Tattoo in Atlanta, GA.

I moved to Atlanta in 1996 specifically to apprentice with Cap, who made sure I earned my way into the craft of tattooing with plenty of blood, sweat, and tears.

I returned to Chicago in 2004 to be nearer to my family. I began working at Tattoo Factory in the notorious Uptown neighborhood upon my return, and remained there until November of 2012.

I opened my private studio shortly thereafter in Old Irving Park neighborhood on the Northwest side.

I love tattooing, and can generally draw whatever you want. I’m very anal-rententive, which is a blessing and a curse. I was trained by one of the best (and also most anal-retentive) tattooers in the business, and it's my responsibility to carry on our tradition of quality, consistency, and pride.

I do all styles of tattooing and enjoy making the design flow with the natural lines of the body. Tiny tattoos get just as much love as the giant ones, all are welcome! There is no “go big or go home” mantra here.

Along with artistic designs, I also offer 3D nipple/areola tattooing for breast cancer survivors, surgical scar coverups/embellishments, and re-pigmentation. I’ve become to go-to for all types of scar tattooing. Along with my breast cancer warriors, working with survivors of self-harm is really humbling. I’m really honored that my clients trust me to help in their healing process.

I am a huge believer in continuing education and attend classes & workshops as often as possible. All of my professional and legal certifications are always up to date and proudly displayed.

I’ve been an artist my whole life; I come from a very creative family of artists and musicians, and they have always encouraged me to make art. I have wanted to be a tattooer since I was a little kid, drawing all over myself and my Barbies, and have always had full support in making my goals a reality.

I don't consider myself blessed or lucky: I've worked very, very hard to have my life, art, and business be successful.

I try to learn something new every day. i love everything from the Victorian and Edwardian eras, art nouveau, ancient and modern history, architecture, science, antiques, documentaries, reading, and the golden age of piracy.

I'm a bit of a nerd; If you are concerned with having a "cool" tattoo artist do your work, I may not be the one for you. If you want someone who takes their craft as seriously as a heart attack and strives to do their best work possible, you've found me!

While my schedule is a little tight, I will always accept new clients. You don't have to audition to get tattooed by me. I don't select clients based on what I want to do, or do only "my style".

I was trained to be versatile, to offer all styles of tattooing, and to have a professional and friendly bedside manner. I do my best to make every client's tattoo a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Your safety and happiness are very important to me. I guarantee all of my work.

Please feel free to contact me to set up an appointment or consultation. I look forward to working with you!
